The Sunshine Institute focuses on the treatment of children, trauma, special needs and developmental delays. Individual, family, and group settings are available to address a multitude of concerns in the most appropriate environment.
The Sunshine Institute has four unique treatment rooms to meet the individual needs of each person who walks through the door. One of the rooms in particular provides a sensory rich therapeutic environment for children who have been diagnosed with developmental delays.
The lead counselor, Ashley Jacobus, has specialized training in treating trauma and developmental delays from the International Association of Trauma Professionals and Bowling Green State University.
